Jacques Bermon Webster II (born on April 30 1991) more popularly known as his stage name Travis Scott (formerly stylized as Travi$ Scott) is a popular American musician, rapper and songwriter. He is also a record producer. The stage name he uses is that of his loved uncle and is also the first name of Kid Cudi, his inspiration (whose real name was Scott Mescudi). In 2012, Scott signed his first major label deal with Epic Records. He also signed a publishing deal with GOOD Music with Kanye West. He signed a recording contract with Epic Records and T.I. in April of 2013. The singer also signed a recording deal with Epic and T.I. Scott's debut long-form project, Owl Pharaoh, was self released in 2013. The mixtape was later followed by Days Before Rodeo in 2014. Rodeo (2015) was his debut studio album. The hit single "Antidote" was the album's lead track. His second album Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) hit number one on the Billboard 200. Scott released his second album with Quavo, Huncho Jack Huncho (2016). The album was the third album he had recorded with Astroworld. Scott also recorded his first Billboard Hot 100 #1 single, "Sicko Mode" which included Drake. Scott's album JackBoys was released in the latter half of in 2019 by Cactus Jack Records. It made it to the top of the Billboard 200. Following the single "Franchise" and Scott (featuring Young Thug) and M.I.A. were released, it topped the Billboard 200. Scott became the Hot 100's first artist to have three songs at number 1 in less that a year in 2020.
